It's hard to believe that Andy Carroll once commanded a transfer fee of £35m. The beleaguered West Ham striker has struggled for form and fitness since his £17m to Upton Park a couple of years ago and has now seen his comeback from injury postponed by another 7-10 days for the most mind boggling of reasons.
